Job summary

Victory Programs Incorporated in Dorchester, MA is seeking a Resident Assistant to support daily operations, ensure a safe, welcoming residence, and assist staff. You will conduct screenings, aid with intakes, uphold policies, and help coordinate family arrivals and departures.

This full-time, on-site role requires strong organizational and communication skills, CPR certification (may be obtained on hire), and the ability to work with residents from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills.
• CPR certification (may be obtained upon hire).
• Three work-related professional references; at least 2 from manager or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residence in good repair, order, and free of hazards.
• Coordinate arrival of families and provide education on house rules and resources.
• Perform initial screenings, complete intakes, and prelim needs assessments with Case Managers.
• Enforce policies to maintain a safe, supportive residential environment.
• Engage residents in on-site recreational, cultural, and youth programming.
• Document observations, incidents, and engagements during shifts.
