Illuminus is seeking a Resident Assistant (RA) for our The Marquardt community in Watertown, Wisconsin. The RA will assist residents with daily living activities, promote safety, and provide companionship on a schedule that may include 8-hour shifts and weekend rotations.

This role supports residents across assisted living, memory care, and related services, with a focus on compassionate, person-centered care and collaboration with nursing staff. Training is available as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Caregiving: 1 year (preferred)
• CBRF training (preferred, not required)
• CPR Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provides compassionate, resident-centered care according to service plans and nursing direction.
• Communicates respectfully with residents, families, and staff; monitors and reports changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Documents care accurately, assist with scheduling, and follows safety, confidentiality, standard precautions, and scope-of-training requirements.
• Completes required training, collaborates with all disciplines, and supports the organization’s mission, vision, and values.

The Marquardt, an Illuminus Community, is hiring for a Resident Assistant (RA) in our Assisted Living (CBRF) .

Set on a 52-acre campus with rolling green lawns, gorgeous trees and flowers and paved walkways, The Marquardt offers assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing care as well as independent living options for older adults in Garden Homes and apartments.

Established in 1969, The Marquardt has continued to transform expectations of senior living with ever-evolving and expansive options in Watertown, Wisconsin, conveniently located halfway between Madison and Milwaukee.

Position Details

We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities with a variety of scheduling options. Shift availability may vary based on the needs of the community.

This position may include 8-hour shifts, including weekend rotation as scheduled.

$17.50 - $18.62 per hour (based on experience)

A resident assistant (RA) in senior living provides support and assistance to residents with their daily living activities and promotes a safe and engaging environment. They help with tasks like bathing, dressing, eating, and using the toilet, and also offer emotional support and companionship. RAs play a vital role in ensuring residents' well-being and independence.
