Job summary

American Lutheran Homes, Inc. is seeking dedicated Resident Assistants to join the Autumn Village team in Wisconsin. Part-time AM/PM shifts available with pay ranging from $16.00 to $21.50 per hour based on experience and shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (manicures, bathing, and dressing) to individuals requiring assistance.
• Provide daily orientation to residents.
• Facilitate activity group, serve meals/snacks, and clean kitchen/dining room area.
• Report to next shift with updates on any progress or changes.
• Assist with medications as indicated, charting, health monitoring (blood pressures, weights, temperatures).
• Answer and transfer telephone calls appropriately.
• Verbally communicate with residents, families, pharmacists, medical and facility staff.
• Arrange for transfer of resident to medical facility if needed.
• Handle and maintain confidential information/records.
• Project a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, and the public.
• Document appropriate to cares/needs given.
• Use the appropriate lift per residents' care plans.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
