Job summary

Grace Lutheran Communities is seeking dedicated Resident Assistants to join the Edgewood team. We offer Full-Time and Part-Time AM/PM/NOC shifts with flexible scheduling and a pay range of $16.00-$21.50 per hour based on experience and shift.

As part of our team, you will monitor residents' health and behavior, follow care plans, and contribute to a positive, caring environment. Benefits include health coverage, PTO, and retirement matching.

Qualifications

• Monitor and record health and behavior of residents.
• Know and follow residents' individual care plans.
• Be available for staff meetings and trainings.
• Maintain a positive work and living environment.
• Assist in housekeeping duties daily.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and furniture/furnishings according to standards.
• Follow procedures for handling chemicals and operating equipment.
• Report needed items to the Director and maintain inventory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Monitor and record health and behavior of residents and clients. Communicate such information with other members of the interdisciplinary team
• Know and follow residents and clients individual care plans
• Know the emergency and evacuation procedures established for the unit/facility
• Have a working knowledge of the regulations governing long term care
• Use all materials, food and supplies resourcefully, report needed items to the Director
• Maintain a positive work and living environment
• Assist in household and housekeeping duties on a daily basis, including inventory, storage of supplies, light housekeeping and other duties as assigned by DON, Director or Administrator
• Be available for staff meetings and trainings as requested
• Clean resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and furniture/furnishings according to job standards/procedures
• Follow manufacturer’s procedural guidelines when using tools, handling chemicals, operation of equipment; removal of debris; removal of soiled linens
