Job summary

Grace Lutheran Communities in Eau Claire, WI is seeking dedicated Resident Assistants (RAs) to join our Willowbrook team. We have Full-Time and Part-Time AM/PM/NOC shifts available and pay $16.00-$21.50 per hour, based on experience and shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record health and behavior of residents and clients; communicate findings to the interdisciplinary team
• Know and follow residents' and clients' individual care plans
• Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures for the unit/facility
• Maintain knowledge of regulations governing long-term care
• Use materials, food and supplies efficiently; report needs to Director
• Maintain a positive work and living environment
• Assist in daily housekeeping and inventory; support DON/Director/Administrator
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as requested
• Clean resident rooms, common areas and bathrooms according to standards
• Follow manufacturer guidelines when using tools and handling chemicals
• Etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Monitor and record health and behavior of residents and clients. Communicate such information with other members of the interdisciplinary team
• Know and follow residents and clients individual care plans
• Know the emergency and evacuation procedures established for the unit/facility
• Have a working knowledge of the regulations governing long term care
• Use all materials, food and supplies resourcefully, report needed items to the Director
• Maintain a positive work and living environment
• Assist in household and housekeeping duties on a daily basis, including inventory, storage of supplies, light housekeeping and other duties as assigned by DON, Director or Administrator
• Be available for staff meetings and trainings as requested
• Clean resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and furniture/furnishings according to job standards/procedures
• Follow manufacturer’s procedural guidelines when using tools, handling chemicals, operation of equipment; removal of debris; removal of soiled linens
