Vivie is hiring a Resident Assistant to provide hands-on support in a community setting. The part-time role runs 18 hours per pay period with a 6am-12pm window, alternating Week 1 (Sat) and Week 2 (Sun, Fri). You’ll help residents with daily activities, meals, and wellness while promoting dignity and companionship.

We value teamwork, clear communication, and a commitment to excellence. Prior caregiving experience is preferred, and CNA certification is optional but beneficial; background checks

Competenze

• CNA certification MN/WI preferred but not required.
• Background check as required by state regulations.
• English reading, writing and speaking proficiency.
• Experience as caregiver or similar role preferred.

• Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting and mobility.
• Support meals, restorative care and life skills respecting resident preferences.
• Encourage participation in social, recreational and wellness activities.

Pay Range: $19-$23.65 (non-exempt) based on location, experience, and qualifications

As a Resident Assistant At Vivie, You Will

• Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences.
• Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.

This Job Also Requires

• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Clear and compassionate communication abilities.
• A commitment to serving with excellence and integrity.
• Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or similar role is preferred but not required.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal effectiveness.
• Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification (preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living).
• Ability to pass a state-required background study.
• Physical ability to perform the duties required by the position.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.
