Job summary

Vivie is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to support residents with daily activities, meals, and mobility in a warm community setting. This role emphasizes safety, dignity, and meaningful connections, with weekend and evening shifts. You will collaborate with the Nursing department, document changes, and help residents participate in wellness and social activities.

English fluency required; CNA preferred. Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences.
• Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.

Job description

Schedule: Part Time | 32 hours/pay period | 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. | Saturday & Sunday | 3 out of 4 weekends per month & a higher holiday rotation

Pay Range: Premium wage of $28/hour while working scheduled weekends and holidays | Base wage of $18.50 - $23.65/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

• Ability to pass a state-required background study.
• Physical ability to perform the duties required by the position.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.
