Job summary

Vivie is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide hands-on support to residents in a non-exempt, part-time role. You will assist with daily activities, meals, and mobility while promoting safety and dignity. We offer weekend/holiday coverage, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, housekeeping, and reporting health changes to nursing staff. Candidates should be able to pass a background check and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass a state-required background study.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.
• Physical ability to perform the duties required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences.
• Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.

Schedule: Part Time | 48 hours/pay period | 6:30 am -3:00pm | Includes every other weekend and holiday

Pay Range: $19 - $23.65/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.
