Vivie is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide hands-on support to residents in Minnesota. The role includes helping with daily activities, meals, and wellness activities, while ensuring safety and a comfortable living environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, mobility).
• Support meals, restorative care and life skills respecting preferences.
• Encourage participation in social, recreational and wellness activities.
• Maintain clean, comfortable environment (housekeeping, laundry, organizing spaces).
• Prepare, store and serve meals, beverages, and snacks.
• Monitor and report changes in health or well-being to nursing staff.

Job description

Schedule: On-Call | Pick up a minimum of 3 shifts per month

Pay Range: $18.50 - $23.65/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

As a Resident Assistant At Vivie, You Will

• Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences.
• Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.

This Job Also Requires

• Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or similar role is preferred but not required.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal effectiveness.
• Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification (preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living).
• Ability to pass a state-required background study.
• Physical ability to perform the duties required by the position.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.
