Resident Assistant PRN (Healthcare)

About Us: ClarkLindsey is committed to empowering older adults to live their best lives with dignity, respect, and compassion. As a Resident Assistant, you will support our resident-centered approach by providing personalized assistance to promote residents' physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Your Role: As a Resident Assistant, you will provide friendly, compassionate healthcare and daily living support to older adults under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Your responsibilities include:

Assisting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while promoting independence and dignity.
Providing companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering meaningful connections.
Monitoring residents' condition and reporting changes to the nursing team.
Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess:

Compassionate demeanor and genuine desire to provide person-centered care.
Adaptability and flexibility to meet evolving resident and team needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with residents and families.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits and Compensation: The pay range is $19.80 per hour, with performance-based bonuses up to 2% annually, typically in spring and fall.
Differentials of $1.50 per hour are paid for shifts between 7:00 pm and 7:00 am (CNA, RA, LPN, RN).
Stand-by shifts are paid at $2.50 per hour, with normal rates if called in.
Full-time and part-time employees can access benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, AFLAC policies, long-term disability, life insurance, educational reimbursement, paid time off, sick leave, and bereavement leave.
Optional benefits include mandated paid time off, meals, employee assistance programs, on-site fitness center, discounts, uniform purchase assistance, and enrollment in Lifelock and AAA.

Job Requirements: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must comply with HIPAA privacy and security rules.
Ability to tactfully interact with personnel, residents, and the public.
Stand-by shifts are required and will be discussed during the interview.
Post-training, RAs will float between departments as needed to ensure resident care.
