A leading retirement community in Urbana is seeking Resident Assistants to provide exceptional care to older adults. The role focuses on supporting daily living activities, fostering emotional connections, and collaborating with nursing staff to enhance residents' well-being. Resident Assistant PRN (Healthcare)
Assisting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while promoting independence and dignity.
Providing companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering meaningful connections.
Monitoring residents' condition and reporting changes to the nursing team.
Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess:

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits and Compensation: The pay range is $19.80 per hour, with performance-based bonuses up to 2% annually, typically in spring and fall.
Differentials of $1.50 per hour are paid for shifts between 7:00 pm and 7:00 am (CNA, RA, LPN, RN).
Stand-by shifts are paid at $2.50 per hour, with normal rates if called in.
Full-time and part-time employees can access benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, AFLAC policies, long-term disability, life insurance, educational reimbursement, paid time off, sick leave, and bereavement leave.

Job Requirements: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must comply with HIPAA privacy and security rules.
Ability to tactfully interact with personnel, residents, and the public.
Stand-by shifts are required and will be discussed during the interview.
Post-training, RAs will float between departments as needed to ensure resident care.
