Flexible schedule: Pick up shifts as you are available. Minimum 16 hours per month, including holiday and weekend rotation.

Position: Resident Assistant

Responsibilities:

The Resident Assistant will assist residents who are functionally, physically, and/or socially impaired and require 24-hour oversight. The role involves helping residents with activities of daily living they are unable to perform independently, while promoting their independence and freedom of choice.

Qualifications:

1. Ability to think, act, and intervene independently in routine and emergency situations.
2. Self-motivated with the ability to function as an “in-charge” person.
3. Courteous and diplomatic in relating to residents and staff under all circumstances.
4. Flexible hours and willingness to participate in holiday activities.
5. High school diploma or equivalent; ability to obtain medication manager and CPR certifications.
6. Regular attendance required.
7. Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
