ClarkLindsey, a leading retirement community, is seeking Resident Assistants to join our dynamic team and provide exceptional care to our residents.

As a Resident Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our resident-centered approach to care by providing personalized support and assistance to promote resident physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Your Role: As a Resident Assistant at ClarkLindsey, you will provide friendly, compassionate, healthcare and daily living support services to older adults under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
  • Providing compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering meaningful connections and enhancing quality of life.
  • Monitoring overall condition, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
  • Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs and preferences.

Requirements: The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

  • Compassionate demeanor and genuine desire to provide person-centered care to older adults.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet the evolving needs of residents and the healthcare team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with residents and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits and Compensation

The pay range for this position is $19.80 per hour. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.

Differentials in the amount of $1.50 per hour are paid for any shift worked between the hours of 7:00pm and 7:00am. (CNA, RA, LPN, RN)

Any stand-by shifts are paid at $2.50 per hour while on stand-by, and at the normal hourly rate if called in.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language.
  • Must abide by ClarkLindsey's HIPAA privacy and security rules as described in the Employee Handbook.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, and the general public.
  • Stand-by shifts are required, and will be discussed at the time of interview
  • After training is completed, RAs will float between departments as needed to optimize resident care
