Vivie is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide hands-on support to residents in a community setting. The role includes helping with activities of daily living, meals, and wellness activities, with a focus on dignity, joy, and companionship.

The position offers a part-time schedule (32 hours per pay period) with weekend work and holiday rotation, plus competitive benefits and opportunities for growth. Must be able to pass a background check in Minnesota/Wisconsin and communicate effectively in

Qualifications

• Caregiver or similar role experience preferred but not required.
• CNA certification (MN/WI) preferred and may be required for some levels.
• Ability to pass a state background study and read/write/speak English.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with daily activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, mobility).
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences.
• Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping and laundry.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.

Schedule: Part Time |32 hours per pay period| 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.| Saturday & Sunday, 3 out of 4 weekends per month & holiday rotation

Pay Range: $28/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

As a Resident Assistant At Vivie, You Will

• Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences.
• Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.

This Job Also Requires

• A commitment to serving with excellence and integrity.
• Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or similar role is preferred but not required.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal effectiveness.
• Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification (preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living).
• Ability to pass a state-required background study.
• Physical ability to perform the duties required by the position.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.
