Job summary

Leisure Care is seeking a Resident Assistant II for our Delray Beach community. You will provide compassionate, hands-on support for residents, assist with daily living activities, help with medications, and sometimes step in as shift lead. The role includes every other weekend 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm shifts.

We’re looking for a caring, professional individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills, and CNA is a plus. We offer a supportive team and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Active CNA is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Make observations, record changes, and communicate resident needs with the team.
• Support new team members with orientation and training.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with residents, families, and co-workers.
• Pitch in with light housekeeping or laundry tasks as needed.

As a Resident Assistant II, you'll be at the heart of our community. This broad-scoped caregiver position is all about providing compassionate, hands‑on support for our residents. You'll assist with daily living activities (like dressing, grooming, and bathing), help with medications, and sometimes even step in as a shift lead. You'll be part of a team that keeps our residents safe, happy, and feeling right at home.

What You'll Do:

• Provide personal care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Make observations, record changes, and communicate resident needs with the team
• Support new team members with orientation and training
• Build strong, respectful relationships with residents, families, and co‑workers
• Pitch in with light housekeeping or laundry tasks as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• A caring, positive, and professional attitude, especially when supporting aging adults or those with dementia
• Active CNA is a plus!
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
