Job summary

Leisure Care is seeking a Resident Assistant II to join our assisted living community in a compassionate, hands-on role. You will assist residents with daily living activities and medications, and may step in as a shift lead to support a safe, welcoming home.

The position emphasizes building strong relationships with residents, families, and teammates while maintaining a caring, professional environment. Florida background screening details may apply.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Caring, positive, and professional attitude especially with aging adults or those with dementia.
• Active CNA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Make observations, record changes, and communicate resident needs with the team.
• Support new team members with orientation and training.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with residents, families, and co-workers.
• Pitch in with light housekeeping or laundry tasks as needed.
