Job summary

Hickory Senior Living Management, LLC is seeking caregivers to provide high-quality personal care for residents in a structured senior living environment. The role covers ADLs, mobility support, dining assistance, and respectful interaction with residents and families.

Shifts include day, evening, and night coverage. Candidates should be able to read and follow instructions, perform basic calculations, and maintain a respectful, drug-free workplace. Training and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents.
• Assist with ADLs including ambulation, transfers, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Respond to pull cords and calls for assistance.
• Assist residents with daily personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with medications as directed.
• Help residents with ambulation, transfers, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming.
• Serve residents in dining rooms professionally.
• Clean resident apartments, launder linens, and clean common areas.
• Accompany residents to scheduled appointments.
• Read, write, and perform simple calculations and follow oral/written instructions.
• Lift up to 75 pounds unassisted and 125 pounds with assistance.
• Maintain regular attendance with a positive attitude and attire.
• Work well with others and independently.
• Demonstrate sincere desire to work with elderly residents.

1st Shift: 7a-3p | 2nd Shift: 3p-11p | 3rd Shift: 11p-7a

Pay Range: $10-13/Hour | Immediate Access to DailyPay

• Rate of pay is based on experience

• Provide exceptional customer service to all residents, families, and guests

• Provide personal care and services for all residents including:

  • Respond to the pull cord system and calls for assistance

  • Assist all residents in the event of an emergency

  • Assist with ADL’s includingambulating,transfers, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, meals,etc.

  • Assist in performing, monitoring and supervision of daily personal hygiene of residents

  • Assist residents with medications

  • Serve residents in the dining room in a professional, friendly manner

  • Clean resident’s apartments, launder their clothing and linens, clean common areas of community

  • Accompany residents toscheduled appointments

• Must be able to read, write, and make simple calculations and followbothoral and writteninstructions

• Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted and 125 pounds per person in a two-person lift, using proper body mechanics

• Overall good physical and mental health

• Overall patient and compassionate

• Will be regular in attendance, with the right attitude and attire

• Must work well with othersand independently

• Sincere desire to work with the elderly and the infirmed
