Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and basic care. The RA works closely with the nursing team to maintain residents' physical, mental, and social well-being.

This role requires CNA certification or applicable state training, CPR/First Aid, weekend/holiday availability, and a teamwork mindset. Opportunities exist for full-time or part-time schedules, with competitive benefits including PTO and

Qualifications

Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
Current CNA certification required per state regulations.
Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
Knowledge of Alzheimer's Disease and related memory impairments preferred.
Demonstrates ability to work as a team.

Responsibilities

Provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities.
Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, meals and social activities.
Collaborate with nursing and other departments to support resident well-being.
Support residents and families with daily routines and activities.
Maintain a compassionate, safe and respectful environment.
