Legacy Senior Living, located in Tifton, GA, is seeking a compassionate CNA/Resident Assistant to provide personalized care and companionship to residents. You will work closely with the team to honor independence, dignity, and safety in daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving for older adults preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Willing to learn and follow care plans, safety policies, and training protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and emotional support per each resident’s care plan.
• Assist with daily activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and medication reminders.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and calls, day or night.
• Build relationships with residents and families based on trust and compassion.
• Escort residents to meals and activities, encouraging social engagement.
• Observe and report changes in physical, emotional, or mental condition to wellness leadership.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with care policies.
• Assist with dining service, light housekeeping, laundry, and daily comforts.
• Uphold resident rights, dignity, independence, and safety at all times.

Who You Are

• A compassionate and dependable caregiver who finds purpose in serving others
• Experience in senior living, home health, or caregiving is a plus—but not required
• Comfortable working in a team environment and communicating clearly
• Willing to learn and follow care plans, safety policies, and training protocols
• Able to lift, bend, and assist residents as needed, using proper body mechanics
• Must pass background checks and applicable state screenings
