Legacy Senior Living in Davis Heights, TN is seeking a compassionate CNA/Resident Assistant to provide personalized care and companionship. You will follow care plans, assist with daily living activities, and help preserve each resident’s independence and dignity.

Experience in senior living or caregiving is a plus, but not required. English proficiency is required. Legacy offers health insurance, PTO, and 401(k) with company match, plus ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in care giving to older adults is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Desire to work with older adults.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care and emotional support in accordance with each resident’s care plan.
• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and medication reminders.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and calls—day or night.
• Build relationships with residents and families based on trust and compassion.
• Escort residents to meals and activities, and encourage social engagement.
• Observe and report changes in physical, emotional, or mental condition to wellness leadership.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with resident care policies.
• Assist with dining service, light housekeeping, laundry, and other daily comforts.
• Uphold resident rights, dignity, independence, and safety at all times.

Who You Are

• A compassionate and dependable caregiver who finds purpose in serving others
• Experience in senior living, home health, or caregiving is a plus—but not required
• Comfortable working in a team environment and communicating clearly
• Willing to learn and follow care plans, safety policies, and training protocols
• Able to lift, bend, and assist residents as needed, using proper body mechanics
