Job summary

Cedar Creek is seeking an enthusiastic Caregiver for our memory care residents in Edmonds, WA. This part-time role offers AM shifts (Sun-Thu, 6AM-2PM) with pay between $22 and $24 per hour, depending on experience.

We provide a CNA certification program and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff, with partial benefits for part-timers. You will assist residents with daily living, engage them in activities, and ensure safety and dignity in care.

Qualifications

• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire.
• Must be able to gain CPR/First-Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and applicable state rules and regulations.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times
• Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and report promptly to a licensed nurse
• Perform other duties as assigned
