Koelsch Communities is seeking a caring Caregiver for Cedarbrook memory care in Fresno. This part-time role offers 2PM–10PM or 10PM–6AM shifts, with weekends included. You will deliver high-quality, individualized assistance and support to residents in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Drug-free and able to pass drug screening at hire.
• CPR/First-Aid certification to be obtained per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility).
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation and activities while providing personal care.
• Respond to resident needs promptly and obtain additional assistance as needed.

Who You Are

You pride yourself in providing exceptional hospitality and personal assistance. This role delivers in a safe and efficient manner the highest quality individualized assistance program to all residents.

What You'll Do

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times
• Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and report promptly to a licensed nurse
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire
• Must have ability to gain CPR/ First-Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and applicable state rules and regulations.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
