Great Lakes Management is seeking a Resident Assistant in Bloomington, MN to provide hands-on physical and emotional care per each resident's service agreement. You will assist with ADLs, support dining and activities, and communicate changes to the case manager.

Six months of long-term care experience and CNA/HHA certification are preferred. The role offers all-shifts hours, a pay range of $17–$25 per hour, shift differentials, and a 401(k) match.

Competenze

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living.
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or CNA preferred.
• Ability to make responsible choices and act in the resident's best interests.

Mansioni

• Assist residents with ADL's as indicated by the individualized service agreement.
• Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement.
• The Resident Assistant observes clients and reports changes to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s):

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands -on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident's service agreement. R esponsible for effectively communicating with residents, families, and notifying the case manager of any changes in condition or concerns. The Resident Assistant assist s in the dining room and participating in activities and outings .

Resident Assistant Job Responsibilitie s :

Qualifications :

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred)
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident's best interests.
