Opened in 2018, Amira Choice of Plymouth is one of our newest senior communities, located at the intersection of Old Rockford Road and Highway 55 in Plymouth, MN. We offer 94 units of Independent, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Care Suites. Position: Resident Assistant

We are seeking a Resident Assistant to provide personal care services that enhance the physical and emotional well-being of our senior residents in Plymouth, MN.

Schedule

• Casual / on call
• Minimum of 3 shifts per month
• One weekend per month
• One holiday per year

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Nurse, provide health-related services such as passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperature checks, blood pressure, and pulse.
• Perform duties including laundry, cleaning, meal service, and activity assistance.
• Observe residents and report their status to appropriate staff.
• Assist with onboarding of new staff members.

Required Skills

• Effective communication with compassion and kindness towards residents and coworkers, working well in a team environment.
• Curiosity and willingness to work with a diverse and aging population.
• CNA certification required if under 18.

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills

• High School diploma or GED, or completion of a formal NA or HHA course.

Compensation

Pay rates range from $21.32 to $29.57 hourly, determined by skills, experience, education, and market conditions. We prioritize pay equity and internal fairness. Offers are typically made below the maximum of the range.
