Job summary

Valley View Retirement Community seeks compassionate and dependable Resident Assistants to support comfort, dignity, and well-being of our residents. You’ll provide personal care, assist with meals and activities, and help create a safe, welcoming environment where older adults thrive.

This full-time role offers 7:00 AM–3:00 PM shifts (every other weekend/holiday). We provide competitive wages: $15.73/hour, up to $3 extra per hour in shift differentials, plus tuition reimbursement, career

Qualifications

• A compassionate, respectful approach to resident care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.
• Dependability and willingness to learn.
• Previous caregiving or senior living experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support based on individualized resident service plans.
• Respond promptly to emergency call systems and resident needs.
• Assist with meals, dining room setup, and cleanup.
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe living environment.
• Support social and recreational activities while encouraging resident participation.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition, preferences, or health status.
• Assist with housekeeping, laundry, snacks, and beverages as needed.

• Resident Assistant
  • 7:00AM to 3:00PM Every other weekend and holiday

What You’ll Do
