Ebenezer is seeking a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide in Minneapolis, MN. The role provides personal cares, passes medications, and health-related services to enhance residents' well-being in the Assisted Living unit.

No CNA required for applicants 18 or older. The position offers a supportive team, evening shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and early wage access.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal cares including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and transfers.
• Provide health related services under Nurse direction, such as passing medication, glucose monitoring, and vital signs.
• May assist with laundry, cleaning, meals, and activity support.
• Observe residents and report status to appropriate staff.
• Assist with onboarding of new staff.

Ebenezer is looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide whom would be responsible for providing personal cares, passing medications, and designated health related services to improve and/or maintain the senior age residents’ physical and emotional well-being! Position is located in Minneapolis, MN at our beautiful care center- in the Assisted Living unit of Jones-Harrison. NO CNA required, unless under 18 years old. Great schedule for a nursing or healthcare or premed student!

This Caregiver Schedule Includes

• 60 hours every two week
• Evening shift
• Every other weekend Sat/Sunday rotation

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
• Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
• May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
• Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
• Assists with onboarding of new staff

Required

• CNA certificated only required if under 18 years old

Preferred

• Ability to communicate optimally, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers
• Ability to work in a team setting and support others
• Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population
• High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course
• Previous work experience as HHA, CNA, NA, DSP, PCA
