Job summary

Hillview Health Care Campus in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide resident-centered care within its assisted living settings. You will work under the supervision of the Assisted Living Supervisor to help create a warm, supportive home for residents we proudly serve.

Starting pay is $18.51 per hour plus shift and weekend differentials. Available schedules include Full-Time, Part-Time With Benefits, and Irregular Part-Time, with AM, PM, and overnight shifts and weekend

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with residents, families, and staff with courtesy and respect.
• Observe residents for needs or changes and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain reliable attendance and collaborate with supervisors and clinical staff.
• Safely administer medications per the Five Rights and perform basic clinical tasks.
• Assist with ADLs: hygiene, mobility, meals, and transfers.
• Document care accurately and maintain a safe, clean environment.

  • PM Shift: 2:30 PM-11:00 PM | Including Every Other Weekend & Holiday Rotation
• Irregular Part-Time (0-39 hours/pay period)
  • AM Shift: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM | Including Every Other Weekend & Holiday Rotation

Overview

This position provides resident care in the assisted living settings of the Hillview Health Care Campus, with a strong focus on person-centered care and a home-like environment. Team members are selected by and work under the supervision of the Assisted Living Supervisor.

• Dependable Team Player: Demonstrate reliable attendance, a willingness to learn, and strong collaboration with supervisors and clinical staff.
• Medication and Clinical Support: Safely administer medications following the Five Rights and perform basic clinical tasks within allowed scope.
• Personal Care Assistance: Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, mobility, meals, and transfers.
• Documentation and Safety: Accurately document care, comply with assisted living regulations, and maintain a safe, clean environment.
