Job summary

Great Lakes Management Co. in Wisconsin is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents in our community. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, dining, and participating in activities to improve quality of life.

The position offers hourly pay between $18 and $22, shift differentials, and a 401(k) match. Ideal candidates will have six months in long-term care and be registered as Nursing Assistants, with a strong focus

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living (Preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant (NA).
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated on the individualized service agreement.
• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the RN per the resident service agreement.
• Observe clients and report changes in physical and emotional condition to the casemanager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance.
• Complete all required documentation daily.

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s):

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands -on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident’s service agreement. R esponsible for effectively communicating with residents, families, and notifying the case manager of any changes in condition or concerns. The Resident Assistant assist s in the dining room and participating in activities and outings .
