Fairview Health Services in Edina, MN seeks a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide to support residents with personal cares and daily activities under nurse supervision. The role is based at Aurora on France, a senior living community connected to Ebenezer, and participates in a weekend/holiday rotation.

Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, feeding, transfers, and light housekeeping, plus health tasks such as glucose monitoring.

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers.
• Caring and patient demeanor when working with older adults.
• CNA certification required if applicant is under 18.

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding and transfers.
• Under nurse supervision, perform health-related tasks like glucose monitoring and vital signs.

Job Overview

We are looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide whom would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior age residents' physical and emotional well-being for our assisted living in Edina, MN. NO CNA required, unless under 18 years old.

• 53 hours per two weeks


• Day shift


• Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff.
Assists with onboarding of new staff.

Required Skills

• Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.


• Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population.


• CNA certificated if under 18.

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills

• High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course
