The RAC collaborates in developing, implementing, evaluating, and revising policies, procedures, and guidelines to drive quality care.

They participate in performance and leadership initiatives aimed at broad improvements to care for CLC residents and work cross-functionally to ensure adherence to standards and best practices

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English for direct patient care.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program with required licensure.
• Foreign-trained nurses may require credential evaluation per VA guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead in development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Collaborate to improve care for Community Living Center residents and coordinate complex resident care.
