Job summary

Sunset Senior Communities is seeking a Resident Aide to provide compassionate, hands-on care and companionship to residents. Duties include helping with mobility, hygiene, eating, dressing, and other plan-of-care tasks, while ensuring call lights are answered promptly.

The role is full-time, 32 hours per week on 2nd shift (2:15 pm to 10:45 pm). Experience in healthcare or customer service is preferred, with potential training as a Med Tech.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or customer service preferred.
• Willingness to train as a Med Tech.
• CNA certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident ADLs including mobility, hygiene, eating and dressing.
• Ensure documentation and timely charting for resident care.
• Assist in answering call lights and provide ADL support.
• Work with residents in memory care and assisted living.
• Willing to train as a Med Tech.

Description

As a Resident Aide, you will provide compassionate, hands-on care and companionship to our residents. Your day will involve helping them fulfill their quality of life needs and provide assistance with mobility, hygiene, eating, dressing, and all other needs indicated by their plan of care. You will also help to ensure that call lights are answered promptly while monitoring and helping residents as needed.

This role is full-time, working 32 hours a week on 2nd shift (2:15 pm to 10:45 pm).

Essential Functions Include:

• Assist with resident ADLs including mobility, hygiene, eating and dressing and other needs
• Assures proper documentation and timely charting for resident care
• Assist in answering call lights and ADL support of the residents
• Working with residents in both memory care and assisted living
• Willing to train as a Med Tech

Wage: starting at $18.75 ($17.25 for the base and a $1.50 shift differential). *Experience considered
