Job summary

Palmilla Senior Living, a Sonida Senior Living community in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a Nursing Aide to assist with daily living activities, medications, and resident care. You will support residents, escort them as needed, help with meals, and participate in activity planning while upholding dignity and respect in all interactions.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; prior nursing or senior living experience is preferred.

• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, medication, treatments, and promotes self-care.
• Escorts residents within the building and outside as needed.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards.
• May help plan and execute activities for residents on a regular basis.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
