Avivo in Minneapolis is seeking a Resident Advocate to deliver high-quality, mission-driven services in a safe recovery environment. You will support participants, respond to calls, manage entry and exit of buildings, and participate in trauma-informed care initiatives.

Shift: Saturday-Tuesday, Overnight 11:30pm-8am
Avivo's Transitional Recovery Housing provides a safe place for participants to reside while they are in outpatient treatment. Participants have access to 24-hour on-site Transitional Housing Staff and Security Team, ensuring a safe and secure environment. The Resident Advocate role is crucial in providing customer service to residents, guests, emergency personnel, and service providers, while also supporting client success through pro-social activities.
As a Resident Advocate, you will ensure high-quality, mission-driven services in a safe recovery environment. You will provide flexible services within a schedule that meets the needs of participants, maintain a participant and guest sign-in log, respond to client calls, manage entry, and exits of buildings, and conduct crisis prevention/intervention as needed. Your role will actively participate in the division’s Trauma Informed Care Initiative and motivational interviewing, supporting evidence-based practices related to specific program areas.
Avivo will begin participating in E-Verify effective July 1, 2025.
