Job summary

LionStone Care is seeking an Activities Aide to join our team in Jackson, OH. This part-time role focuses on enhancing residents' quality of life through engaging recreational and therapeutic activities within our long-term care facility.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in activities coordination or recreation is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Empathy and caring attitude toward older adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and organizing recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Lead and facilitate group activities and encourage resident participation.
• Build relationships with residents and support their emotional needs.
• Document resident attendance and preferences according to facility policies.
• Prepare and clean activity spaces before and after events.
• Support special events like holiday celebrations and outings.
