Job summary

Yellowstone River Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an Activity Assistant to assist the Activity Director in planning and running a creative, resident-centered activities program. The role requires collaboration with staff, families, and community partners to meet residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial needs.

You will help schedule activities, document attendance, and support discharge planning while maintaining safe, engaging alternatives for bed-bound or ambulatory residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer: one year experience in a long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting individual and group activities.
• Maintain attendance records and assist in monthly activity calendar development.
• Coordinate transportation for residents as needed, including outings and appointments.
• Assist in discharge planning and development of activity care plans.
• Ensure activities are accessible and inclusive for residents.
