Job summary

Yellowstone River Nursing and Rehab in Billings, MT is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our compassionate team. You will support the Director of Activities by planning, organizing, and directing engaging programs that meet residents’ recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs in accordance with policies.

This part-time role requires at least one year in long-term care, completion of orientation, and a health screening with TB test.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as an Activities Assistant.
• Completion of orientation required by company policy.
• Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
• Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
• Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct a program of activities providing entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and expression for residents.
• Address basic psychological, social, and spiritual needs through facility-wide and individual activities.
