Role emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and using modalities like music, art, and therapy-based approaches while supporting family and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or related field.
• NCCAP Activity Assistant certification preferred.
• Experience in activity programming is preferred (500 hours).

Responsibilities

• Assist the activity director and support resident programming.
• Provide comfort and stimulation through diverse activities.
• Lead individual and group activities and document participation.
• Support event planning, calendars, and community engagement.
• Collaborate with the team to promote resident well-being.
