Job summary

Kadima Health and Nursing at Palmyra is seeking an Activity Assistant to join our team. You will plan and monitor unit activities and implement individual and group activities to engage residents.

Collaborate with activities staff, oversee documentation of participation and progress, and contribute to a compassionate environment that supports residents' physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plans and monitors unit activities, content of programs and independent activities.
• Implements individual and group activities; supervise residents’ use of all equipment and materials and takes necessary precautions in implementing the program.
• Oversee documentation of resident participation assessment, MDS, care plan and progress on the appropriate forms
• Works with activities staff to establish and maintain effective working relationships with agencies and volunteer groups.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
