Job summary

Northern Montana Hospital is seeking an Activity Aide to provide group and individual activities for residents, plan events, and assist nursing staff. The role requires a Montana CNA license and a valid driver’s license, with duties including community outings and helping with feeding and daily care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read and follow moderately detailed instructions.
• Able to write/print legibly.
• Interest in arts/crafts preferred.
• Able to communicate verbally in clear, cheerful tone.
• Valid Montana Driver's License.
• Licensed MT Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.).

• Starting pay range varies based on experience up to 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities for residents and lead group programs.
• Guide residents in activities and participate alongside them.
• Encourage participation and inclusivity.
• Conduct 1:1 activities for residents unable to join groups.
• Report changes in residents' status to Activity Coordinator or nursing staff.
• Help clean, store and maintain equipment and supplies.
