Job summary

FullShift Staffing in Montana is seeking a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under the direction of charge staff and administrators, ensuring high-quality resident care. You will perform rounds, verify resident identity, assist with daily living activities, keep beds clean, and uphold safety rules and policies while showing empathy for ill, aged and disabled residents.

The position requires a Montana CNA license, at least 6 months of CNA experience or clinical

Qualifications

• Montana CNA license required.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical CNA coursework.
• Desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, staff and the public.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with others.
• Must be patient, tactful, cheerful and enthusiastic.
• Good general health and emotional stability.
• Ability to relate to ill, disabled, elderly and occasionally hostile individuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies, procedures and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident ID before care or meals to ensure correct care.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean and within resident reach.
• Carry out other duties as directed by supervisors.
