Job summary

Signature HealthCARE Harrodsburg Health & Rehab Center is seeking an Activities team member to help meet residents' social, emotional, physical and therapeutic needs. You will assist in planning and delivering both in-room and group activities and promote wellness through engaging programs.

Previous activities or healthcare experience is preferred but not required; CNA is a plus. You will help create an ongoing calendar, document schedules, and involve the community in events to enhance quality

Qualifications

Previous Activities/Healthcare Experience preferred, but not required.
CNA preferred, but not required.
Skilled at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities.

Responsibilities

Assist in activities to meet social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs of residents.
Assist in initiation and promotion of activities both within and outside the facility.
Provide in-room activities for residents unable to attend daily events.
Assist in creation of an ongoing calendar of activities.
Consistently meet State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation.
Solicit the involvement of the community when planning facility activities and events.
