Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking an Activities Department team member to help residents engage in social, emotional, and therapeutic activities. You will assist in planning and delivering in-room and group activities, contributing to a calendar, and ensuring activities meet residents' needs with compassion. Prior healthcare or activities experience is preferred but not required.

CNA experience is a plus. You must be able to work every other Saturday and Sunday, supporting a vibrant,

Qualifications

• Previous Activities/Healthcare Experience preferred, but not required.
• CNA Preferred, but not required.
• Skilled at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities to meet social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs of residents.
• Assist in initiation and promotion of activities within and outside the facility.
• Provide in-room activities for residents unable to attend daily events.
• Assist in creating an ongoing calendar of activities.
• Consistently meet State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation.
• Solicit community involvement when planning facility activities and events.
