Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of McCreary County Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking an Activities Assistant to support residents' social, emotional and physical needs through planned activities, both in-house and in-room. You will help create and maintain an ongoing activities calendar and ensure scheduling documentation meets state standards.

Previous activities/healthcare experience is preferred; CNA is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous Activities/Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities to meet social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs of residents.
• Assist in initiation and promotion of activities within and outside the facility.
• Provide in-room activities for residents unable to attend daily events.
• Assist in creating an ongoing calendar of activities.
• Meet State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation.
• Engage community involvement when planning activities and events.
