Job summary

Centerville is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the Activity Director in running a creative, resident-centered activities program. You will help plan and conduct individual and group activities while ensuring compliance with federal, state, local and corporate standards.

You will coordinate calendars, assist with assessments, arrange transportation, and encourage resident participation in hobbies. Strong communication and reading comprehension are important, as is the ability to lift up

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct activities for individuals, small and large groups.

• Contribute to monthly activity calendars and attendance records.
• Support discharge planning and care plan development for residents.
• Arrange transportation for outings and appointments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized Activity Department and secure area.
