Job summary

United Methodist Communities’ Pitman Manor is seeking an Activities Aide to coordinate and implement resident activities at the community. This part-time role offers an hourly wage of $16.24 to $17.55 and supports engagement, outings, and social events for residents.

Responsibilities include leading programs, building connections, assisting with outings, maintaining records, and collaborating with staff and volunteers to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least one year of work experience is required.
• Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead activities, events, and programs that encourage resident engagement and participation.
• Build meaningful connections with residents through group activities, one-on-one visits, and daily interactions.
• Assist with outings, special events, and excursions that promote social connection and enjoyment.
• Provide transportation for residents attending activities and scheduled programs.
• Maintain attendance records and activity documentation.
• Partner with local organizations and community groups to enhance resident programming.
• Keep activity supplies organized and materials prepared for programs and events.
• Support resident assessments and care planning by sharing observations and feedback.
• Work with residents, families, volunteers, and team members to foster a welcoming community atmosphere.
