Job summary

Majestic Care of West Allen is seeking an Activities Assistant to support residents through engaging, person-centered activities and community events. You will assist with daily programming, document participation, and help maintain a welcoming, comforting environment.

Responsibilities include leading small and large group activities, coordinating calendars, and collaborating with the care team to tailor activities to resident needs. CNA or activity cert preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Activity Assistant Certification preferred.
• CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and participate in person-specific activity programming, including one-to-one interventions, small group facilitation, and large group presentations.
• Utilize the environment to provide both comfort and stimulation to the resident population.
• Lead and participate in individual and group activities.
• Develop and post monthly calendars as a planning resource for residents and families.
• Maintain records of activities and attendance.
