Job summary

Signature HealthCARE's McCreary County Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking an Activities Department team member to support residents' social, emotional and physical well-being through in-room and on-site activities.

You will assist in planning and promoting a calendar of events, ensuring alignment with state standards for activity scheduling and documentation, and engaging residents and the community in meaningful experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous Activities/Healthcare Experience preferred, but not required.
• CNA preferred, but not required.
• Skilled at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities to meet the social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs of residents.
• Assist in initiation and promotion of activities within and outside the facility.
• Provide in room activities for residents unable to attend daily events.
• Assist in creating an ongoing calendar of activities.
• Meet State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation.
• Solicit community involvement when planning facility activities and events.
