Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking an Activities Department team member to help enhance resident life through social, emotional, and therapeutic activities. You will assist in planning and executing a calendar of events, including in-room activities for residents who cannot attend daily events.

We value experience in healthcare activities, with CNA preferred. You will work to meet state standards and encourage community involvement, contributing to a compassionate, person-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Activities/Healthcare Experience preferred, but not required.
• CNA Preferred, but not required.
• Skilled at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities to meet residents' social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs.
• Assist in initiating and promoting activities inside and outside the facility.
• Provide in-room activities for residents who cannot attend daily events.
• Assist in creating an ongoing calendar of activities.
• Meet State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation.
• Solicit community involvement when planning facility activities and events.
