Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking an Activity Assistant to plan, organize, and implement engagement activities for patients and residents, addressing their physical, creative, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs.

You will document attendance, contribute to monthly recreation therapy planning, and attend care plan meetings as needed. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors and respond to their medical and physical needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement engagement activities for patients/residents meeting their physical, creative, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs.
• Document patient/resident attendance and participation level at recreation programs.
• Attend care plan meetings as needed.
