Job summary

Genesis is seeking an Activity Assistant to enrich the lives of our patients and residents by planning, organizing, and implementing engagement activities that meet their physical, creative, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs. You will help design monthly recreation services and monitor participation to tailor our programs.

In this role you will document attendance, attend care plan meetings, and collaborate with the care team to ensure holistic well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement engagement activities meeting physical, creative, cognitive, social, spiritual needs.
• Document patient/resident attendance and participation in recreation programs.
• Attend care plan meetings as needed.
