Job summary

Green Valley Rehabilitation Center in Eugene, OR seeks an Activities Assistant to plan, implement, and coordinate the activity program under the Activities Director. The program ensures ongoing activities meet residents' interests, physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Full-time schedule with weekend availability; pay ranges from $21.67 to $26.26 per hour based on experience, with benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, FSA/HSA, PTO, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Creativity, reliability, and flexibility are important.
• Strong communication and teamwork with residents and staff.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate leisure activity programs with the director.
• Develop and plan activity programs for resident participation.
• Work with the interdisciplinary team to schedule activities and meet survey requirements.
• Complete comprehensive evaluations on residents.
• Document activity assessments and plans, maintaining appropriate records.
• Establish an active Volunteer Program.
• Liaise with community resources to support the facility.
• Identify behavioral changes and communicate them.
• Record progress and evaluate residents to adjust activities.
